TMN & Radio Monitor launch new era in Aussie airplay charts
Both are acknowledged industry leaders in their own right. Radio Monitor for its music monitoring, and TMN for its array of charts including the coveted TMN Hot 100 Airplay Chart.
As part of the changes, all TMN Charts will now be published on a Friday.
This will provide the music industry with a more accurate indication, streamlining chart week data from all sources for the first time in line with global industry best practice.
The charts will also take advantage of Radio Monitor’s breadth of over 200 stations including coverage across commercial, community, ABC, regional and DAB+ radio like never before.
TMN, in partnership with Radio Monitor, will continue to publish niche versions of the Hot 100, including Australian, Country, triple j and Community.
From tomorrow (Oct 4), TMN will also begin to publish the National Indigenous Music Chart which has made a difference to First Australian artist profiles since it launched almost 12 months ago.

Radio Monitor, which has 16 offices around the world, entered the Australian marketplace in 2017.
It was overseen locally by Shooting Star’s Peter Skillman in Sydney and SGC Music Group‘s Stephen Green in Brisbane.
Radio Monitor provides data to all three major record labels as well as a host of radio networks, indie labels, music supervisors and other sectors whose businesses depend on a deep understanding of what’s happening in radio.
