Ticketmaster expands Artist Services division to Australia and New Zealand
Ticketmaster‘s local footprint is going from strength to strength as it announces today a new hire to its Artist Services division.
Kane Kete has been appointed Artist Services Manager of Ticketmaster Australia and New Zealand. Kete re-joins the ticketing giant from its parent company Live Nation, where he held the role of Marketing Manager, Ticketing.
Prior to this, Kane held various positions at both Ticketmaster Australia and New Zealand for six years, including Event Programming Centre Team Leader at Ticketmaster (2014-2015) and Commercial Operations Coordinator at Live Nation (2015-2016).
Commenting on his return to Ticketmaster, Kane Kete said:
“It’s good to be back where I started my career and now working in the Artist Services division which has a proven track record of delivering a number of successful campaigns for artists. I look forward to dealing with promoters, managers and agents here in Australia and New Zealand to really maximise opportunities for artists when artists go on the road.”

Maria O’Connor, Managing Director of Ticketmaster Australia and New Zealand, said:
“Like our colleagues in the Northern Hemisphere we are building a team here that can help an artist from the very start of their careers when they hit the clubs, and grow with them all the way to theatres, arenas and stadiums. Our Artist Services team will be rolling out our fan-first products such as Verified Fan, which are redefining the ticket buying experience and giving artists greater control.”
