Ticketmaster and Moshtix announce partnership with Big Top Luna Park Sydney

Ticketmaster Australia and Moshtix have announced a long-term ticketing partnership with Sydney’s iconic Big Top Luna Park.

The joint agreement is the first of its kind for the Live Nation Entertainment ticketing companies. It will see Big Top make use of combined world class technology and marketing reach of both Ticketmaster and Moshtix as its reserved seat and general admission ticketing solution.

Big Top will continue to utilise Ticketmaster’s real-time event day dashboard and real-time reporting software, all backed by the flexibility and security of Ticketmaster’s digital ticketing solutions. Moshtix will provide ticketing for the venue’s general admission events, delivering self-service tools for both event organisers and fans.

“This partnership brings together one of Australia’s best live entertainment venues with the leading global ticket sales and distribution provider – providing fans with industry-leading ticket services and seamless access to the artists and shows they want to see at Big Top Sydney,” Luna Park Director, Warwick Doughty, said.

In a joint statement, Moshtix Managing Director, Harley Evans, and Ticketmaster Australia Managing Director, Gavin Taylor, shared their excitement at the partnership: “The Ticketmaster and Moshtix teams are both really excited to be part of this unique new relationship that will give more flexibility and choice to Luna Park hirers and their fans.

Our goal is to provide the best service to those that already know and love this celebrated venue, while enlisting our unrivalled reach to hit a whole new audience as well. We can’t wait to get started.”

Located within the city’s iconic Luna Park, Big Top Sydney is one of NSW’s most popular mid-sized entertainment venues. With a capacity of 2,950, it’s played host to international and Australian artists such as Soundgarden, The Prodigy, Bruno Mars, Kylie Minogue, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Rita Ora, Dua Lipa, Hilltop Hoods and many more. New Zealand star BENEE is one of the big names set to play the venue in 2022.
