Tia Gostelow launches her own record label Lovely Records

Central Queensland hailing singer-songwriter Tia Gostelow is capping off a massive 2017 with the launch of her own independent music label.

Gostelow may have only celebrated her 18th birthday a few short months ago but she’s showing no signs of slowing down with the launch of Lovely Records.

Following a breakout year including a huge performance at BIGSOUND, Gostelow took home multiple gongs at the QMAs and Gostelow recentlysigned a recording dealwith US label AngiFragile Music, as well as a publishing deal with NativeTongue.

She’ll now be able to release her forthcoming debut album on Lovely Records, and also hopes to sign some of her favourite new acts soon.

“Releasing my first album on my own independent record label, Lovely Records is a dream!” said Gostelow.

“I’ve always known that when I started releasing music that I wanted to be as independent as possible for my first album release and have just been waiting to turn 18 to make it official!

“I’m really grateful for the support and guidance from my team and the incredible support from Arts Queensland and Australia Council for the Arts who have allowed me to fund the recording of my debut album and release it through Lovely Records.

“I’m excited for the future of Lovely Records and I hope that it might one day become a label that supports and nurtures other young emerging regional artists in the future.”

In celebration of the announcement Gostelow is launching a competition over summer, with all entrants receiving a free download of an unreleased track called ’Giants.’

Entry is as simple as using Shazam to identify her latest track ’Hunger.’

The winner will receive an invited to join Gostelow at her Lovely Records launch party. including fights to Mackay from anywhere in Australia plus a night’s accomodation.
