Prep yourself for another huge week of music, with triple j naming the likes of The Vanns, Dune Rats, and Kanye West as the big acts in this week’s playlist additions.

No matter how you look at it, triple j is constantly one of the best sources for new and exciting music from all around the world. With a strong focus on Aussie artists, there’s no better way to discover new music than by tuning in to the j’s.

Following a week which saw Rex Orange County’s Pony scoring the feature album spot, this week has seen Through The Walls, the long-awaited debut album from The Vanns, scoring the coveted position.

Having been pumping out cracking tunes, playing wild live shows, and being an all-round stunning band for quite a few years now, Through The Walls is an instant classic that will have fans hooked for a long time to come.

As triple j note, the record is “powered by soaring vocals, shining guitars and crashing percussion,” and that “it’s got your next fave crowd singalong written all over it.”

It doesn’t end there though, with a bunch of corker tracks also being added into full rotation, including ‘Now I’m In It’ by LA sisters HAIM, and ‘Follow God’, the fresh banger from Kanye West’s divisive Jesus Is King album.

The local talent is in full supply too, with tunes from the likes of Dune Rats, Fergus James, Northeast Party House, Owl Eyes, Tame Impala, and Wafia set to soundtrack your week as well.

Finally, a bunch of exceptional Aussie acts have received spots on the playlist as well, with tunes from Alexander Biggs, Ocean Grove, Jess Kent, Banoffee, and Carmouflage Rose all set to be heard throughout the coming days.
