The Goon Sax ink international publishing deal with Mattitude

Brisbane band The Goon Sax have signed a new international publishing deal with Mattitude.

The new deal sees THe Goon Sax join acts including Kurt Vile, Cat Power, Yo La Tengo and Car Seat Headrest at Mattitude.

The band formed in 2013 and is made up of Riley Jones, Louis Forster and James Harrison, and released their debut album Up To Anything in 2016.

The Goon Sax released their second album We’re Not Talking in September of 2018, through Chapter Music for ANZ and Wichita Recordings (rest of the world).

Mattitude is the publishing arm of US label Matador Records, as well being part of Beggars Music out of the UK.

Beggars Group represents labels Matador, XL, 4AD, Rough Trade and Young Turks, and publishes acts including Glass Animals, Empress Of, SBTRKT, Nicolas Jaar and Deerhunter.
