That Festival Site to Launch New Era For Australian and New Zealand Music Festivals

That Festival Site, a new online database and news site, is set to be the definitive directory for Australian and New Zealand music festivals.

Officially launching this month, the new site is the creation of 21-year-old founder Jack Malloch, who wanted to develop a one-stop place for festival lovers to easily find information about both upcoming and past music festivals.

Data has been gathered for more than 95 festivals, featuring a massive 900 lineups, 19,000 artists, and 30 years of music. Information on ticket prices, set times, and festival maps can be found, with key announcement dates also provided. And by accessing past ticket prices, fans can then determine how much future festivals are likely to cost.

Other unique features of That Festival Site include a Hall of Fame (who has played most often at each festival), breakdown of lineups by both both genre and artist, average ticket prices over time, and artist history. Users can also search multiple artists to see if they have ever played the same festival together.

Malloch has also ensured that every festival page links directly to ticketing sites to allow fans to secure their ticket after they’ve discovered all the information about the event. A festival calendar and daily articles provide site visitors with the most up to date information about upcoming festivals.

“I was driven to build this directory after struggling to find the information I wanted about festivals on one comprehensive site,” Malloch explained. “The momentum we’re building is beginning to strongly position us as the go-to news source for first time and experienced festival lovers across Australia and New Zealand.”

For now, the focus is on being the most comprehensive breakdown of Australian and New Zealand music festivals, although That Festival Site plans to expand its content to include major international festivals in the future.
