Ticketmaster Lawsuit

A Live Nation ticketing director has apologised for internal messages labelling concertgoers 'so stupid', which surfaced earlier this month.

Messages between two former Live Nation ticketing directors joking about charging fans steep fees have been made public.

Lawyers for Live Nation and Ticketmaster have called for the dismissal of an FTC lawsuit, which they say is an "egregious overreach".

Ticketmaster also vehemently denied accusations that it collaborated with scalpers to inflate ticket prices through resale schemes.
