Mardi Gras

With the city’s lockout laws now fully removed, venues across Sydney are preparing to stretch the night again.

As it approaches its 50th anniversary, the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras has appointed a new chief executive officer, Jesse Matheson.

TikTok's partnership with Mardi Gras also includes an exclusive remix of G Flip's track 'Queen'.

The short-form video platform is embarking on a month-long celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community, culminating in the annual Mardi Gras.

Up to 23,000 people will be able to attend the seated event.

APRA AMCOS and Mardi Gras are searching the country for the next generation of queer music artists via "Express Yourself – Queer Discovery."

Applications are now open!

Organisers have apologised, but no refunds have been offered to thousands left outside Sydney's Hordern Pavilion.
