Hoodoo Gurus

Ausmusic T-Shirt Day is returning this year, with a bold new creative direction and an all-star ambassador lineup.

The ARIA Hall of Fame-inducted rockers will be managed by Bill Cullen’s Sydney-based One Louder Entertainment.

“It is impossible to convey the shock and grief we are feeling right now," reads a statement from the Hoodoo Gurus.

"Without him there would not be an AAM and Support Act would be nowhere near the force that it has become," says John Watson.

Despite “the best efforts of his medical team,” reads a statement,” McMartin succumbed to his illness peacefully” on Easter Sunday.

"Thanks to the Hoodoo Gurus I have lived a life that I only otherwise could have dreamt of,” McMartin signs off.

The Hoodoo Gurus have kicked off a year-long run of 40th anniversary activities.

It's thanks to their new partnership with Universal Music Australia and New Zealand.

It's surprising which big Aussie rock classics weren't hits upon release.

BIGSOUND 2017 is only a matter of weeks away. Now, the annual event has dropped its full program schedule, additional acts and 90 extra speakers.
