The winners of the three prizes will be announced for the first time at the 2023 Queensland Music Awards, set for March 28.

Master producer and engineer Wayne Connolly is now a label honcho. The award-winning music-maker gives TIO a close-up look at his new venture.

The fellowship will see a Queensland musician score $25,000 to spend a period of time writing music in Berlin, London or New York.

The $25,000 prize allows the winner to live and write music in New York, Berlin or London for up to six months.
