SOTD: Catherine Britt’s latest ballad is hot for country airplay

Four-time Golden Guitar winner Catherine Britt returns to the spotlight with new radio single ‘Too Hot To Just Quit’, the third cut from last year’s album Catherine Britt & The Cold Cold Hearts.

The single is supported by a music video directed by Sian Darling (Paul Kelly’s partner) and Carolyn Masel, shot in rural Victoria.

Country Music Channel (CMC) has chosen ‘Too Hot To Just Quit’ as this week’s Country Pick.

Britt has tallied up a total of nine Top 3 singles on the TMN Country Airplay Chart. Her most recent cut ‘Red Dirt’ peaked at #3.

2010’s ‘Can’t Change A Thing’ is her most successful airplay single to date, hitting #1 and remaining at the summit for two straight weeks.

The Newcastle native has just completed a 13 date tour of the US which included her very first appearance at SXSW. She will return to Australia in July for a run of five shows through August.
