SOTD: 6LACK adds a colourful twist to Rita Ora’s ‘Only Want You’

Rita Ora has unveiled a revamped version of her single ‘Only Want You’ featuring Atlanta rapper 6LACK. The UK star is currently powering through the Australian leg of her Phoenix World Tour.

An undeniable love song, ‘Only Want You’ boasts a full package of guitar riffs, percussion and a pop-driven chorus.

6LACK adds a distinctive R&B element to the track, similar to Young Thug‘s contribution on Camila Cabello’s ‘Havana’ and Cardi B‘s vocals on Maroon 5’s ‘Girls Like You’. Both singles peaked at #2 on the TMN Hot 100.   

This proven formula, now adopted by Ora, is already winning radio over. ‘Only Want You’ has been added by Hit105, Hit92.9, Nova’s Smallzy’s Surgery and Hit National Nights.

Ora’s past singles ‘Your Song’ (#5), ‘For You’ with Liam Payne (#3) and ‘Let You Love Me’ (#4) were Australian radio hits in 2017/18.
