Rolling Stone Australia Awards 2023: Last Chance to Nominate!

Nominations are coming to a close on the 2023 Rolling Stone Australia Awards, which are set to take place in March.

As previously announced, the third annual ceremony will pay tribute to the year that was in music, honouring local music exports across five categories: Best Record, Best Single, Best New Artist, and the Rolling Stone Global Award.

The invitation-only event is set to serve as a night of live music, unlimited drinks and a celebration of Australia’s impressive music scene.

The return of RS’ flagship awards night follows the 2022 show in Sydney, where Genesis Owusu, The Kid LAROI, and King Stingray were among the big winners, while Amy Shark and Ruby Fields performed.

The Rolling Stone Global Award will again be judged by Rolling Stone’s global staff members to acknowledge the Australian act they just can’t get out of their head.

Nominations are open to all email subscribers of The Music Network at the official voting portal, with any Australian artists – or music releases – who have released works in the eligibility period of Nov. 1, 2021, to Oct. 15, 2022, eligible.

But get in quick. The door shuts on nominations just before midnight next Monday, Jan. 16.

“We are so thrilled to honour Australian music once again in March. I am so thankful that we have been given the opportunity to celebrate the artists who soundtracked what was another trying year for our industry,” says The Brag Media Editor-in-Chief, Poppy Reid.

“Looking back on the year that was, it’s clear Australia continues to break down barriers and keep its earned place on the global stage. I can’t wait for what will be a bigger and even better Rolling Stone Australia Awards in Sydney.”

Nominations are open now to all TMN email subscribers at the official voting portal. If you are not a current TMN subscriber, you can join here.
