QMA’s reveal 2020 performer lineup with Cub Sport & Busby Marou
Cub Sport, Busby Marou, Jaguar Jonze and Order Sixty6 have been announced to perform at the 2020 Queensland Music Awards (QMAs).
The ceremony will take place at Fortitiude Music Hall on Tuesday, March 3 – celebrating the best musicians Queensland has to offer.
More artists are yet to be announced for the 2020 awards, and QMAs executive producer Angela Samut is excited to return to their new home.
“The 2020 Queensland Music Awards are shaping up to be the most exciting Awards that QMusic has presented finding their new home in the beautiful Fortitude Music Hall,” she said.
“The QMA’s ceremony will feature incredible QLD talent which is a reflection of the consistently high quality of artists coming through the ranks in our state.
“The calibre of artists entering the 2020 QMAs has been unprecedented and next week we announce our world-class category finalists.
“I’m also very happy to say we have some exciting news regarding our Emerging Artist of the Year Award soon!”
Cub Sport’s Tim Nelson says the awards are key to celebrating the diverse talent across the state.
“It’s also exciting to discover new artists who will likely be the future of Queensland music.
“I remember hearing about Amy Shark when she won her first QMA, fast forward a couple of years and she’s winning ARIAs, selling out shows all around the world and casually hanging out with Nicole Kidman.
“Zo and I have a stripped back performance planned for the night which I’m really excited for!”
