One of One Celebrates 10 Years with a National Tour and a Star-Studded Speaker Lineup
For a decade, One of One has been a driving force for gender equity in Australian music, creating spaces for women and gender non-conforming professionals to connect, celebrate, and push for meaningful change.
In 2025, the organisation is marking its 10-year anniversary with a national tour of breakfast events throughout March, including its first-ever event in Perth.
ARIA and BRIT Award-winning artist Tina Arena has been announced as the keynote speaker for One of One’s 10th Anniversary Tour in Melbourne at the Corner Hotel on March 25th.
Further keynote speakers will be revealed for other cities in the lead-up to the tour, with One of One’s team promising an inspiring lineup of industry figures, performances, and networking opportunities across all stops.
The tour will begin in Perth on March 7th before heading to Brisbane, Darwin, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide, with each city hosting a fully catered event featuring guest speakers, artist performances, and key awards and scholarships supported by Warner Music Australia, Mushroom Music, UNIFIED Music Group, GYROstream, and White Sky.
Since its inception, One of One has become a cornerstone of the industry, with its annual networking events and keynote speakers bringing visibility to the contributions of women and GNC people in music. This year’s tour promises to honour its past while looking ahead to the future, with the organisation pulling out all stops to celebrate the milestone.
One of One founders Sarah Hamilton, Joanna Cameron, and Bec Young have helped shape the organisation into a key pillar of the Australian music landscape. Their work has not only created safe and empowering spaces but has spotlighted over 400 women and GNC industry professionals through interviews, events, and mentorship programs.
“We cannot believe it’s been 10 years of One of One! We’ve grown from our humble beginnings with the help and support of our community and the music industry. We still love what we do, and it’s as important now as it ever was. We have a team of incredible women and GNC people across the country who work with us, and we are so proud of being here for a decade and all of the people we’ve spotlighted through our events and interviews. So many memories! And so much more to come,” the One of One team said.
With past keynote speakers including Jen Cloher, Stella Donnelly, Becca Hatch, Deborah Cheetham AO, and Emma Donovan, this year’s event series is set to be one of the most memorable yet.
Diversity and equity remain at the core of One of One’s mission, and the organisation sees this tour as a crucial opportunity to continue pushing for progress in an industry that still has significant barriers to overcome.
