On The Dial: SCA offer Kyle & Jackie O $12m?; Ciaran Davis APN’s new CEO; SCA to launch new night show

$12mfor Kyle & Jackie O?

The Telegraph in Sydney has claimed that“Kyle Sandilands and Jackie Henderson are about to be offered 12 million reasons to return to the radio network that made them stars.”

With Kyle and Jackie O are on contract until 2016 with ARN, the paper reports that SCA have put together a deal to lure them from KIIS 106.5 back to 2Day FM.

The Telegraphquotes Kyle saying:“it would take more than money…

“I like that figure though — $12 million a year is a nice number.”

It was back in 2013 when Duncan Campbell managed to get K&J over to ARN, and the chances of them letting them go are pretty slim, but it would add some “fun” to contract negotiations and that in fact may be the objective of the rumour if it is true.

“I’m not going to go back to driving an old car just because it’s got a new coat of paint,”Kyle told the Telegraph.“Why would I do that? I’ve got much flasher car now.”

If you believe it, the SCA deal would trump the rumours of the $8 million a year SCA are paying Hamish & Andy.
