Coldplay across Nova net

Coldplay are bringing their live set exclusively to the Nova Network on Wednesday from 6pm.

Following Coldplay’s headline performance for Nova’s Red Room Global Tour in Manchester this year, they are back exclusively to perform in Nova’s Red Room live on the Nova Network.

Hot 91 change Breakfast for 2017

Tis the season for stations to make changes, and there have been plenty of them.

The latest is from Hot 91 on the Sunshine Coast where they have launched a new 3-person Breakfast show for 2017.

Hot 91’s new Breakfast show is now a 3-person team with the previous Breakfast co-host Sam Coward being joined by Dave Matthews from Hit105 Brisbane, and Ash Gierke who is a long-term “Hot 91’er”. Previous Breakfast co-host Nerisa Pace has left the station.

Hot 91 said:

“With Nerissa leaving Hot 91 and the Sunshine Coast to travel the world, we knew we had a big gap to fill…..with an irreverent sense of humour and a penchant for practical jokes who knows what to expect from the new trio expect for lots of laughs.”

The new ‘Dave, Sam & Ash’ show launched this morning.

Hayley Pearson joins Nova 919 Brekky

Nova 919 has announced that Hayley Pearson will join Dylan Lewis and Shane Lowe on Breakfast in 2017.

Hayley, an Adelaide local, has worked on-air in Melbourne and Adelaide including nearly 5 years on Breakfast with SAFM (now Hit107), so is well familiar in the market.

Dave Shearer, Nova 919’s Program Director said:

“Hayley will be an invaluable addition to the team. She’s no stranger to the Nova listeners with significant radio experience including three years previously with Nova, hosting night show Launchpad with Tim Blackwell. It’s great to have her back in the Nova family in 2017 at such an exciting time.”

Hayley said:

“I worked with Dylan and Shane years ago and I love both of them, so I’m BEYOND excited that I get to be part of their awesome show this year! Nova have been so supportive of Adelady and everything that I’m doing, so I feel at home already and can’t wait to get back behind the mic with those crazy cats!”

Lewis & Lowe said:

“We’re genuinely thrilled and excited to have our old mate Hayley on the show next year and can’t wait for the shenanigans we’ll all get up to. We’ve got some great things planned and 2017 is lining up to be another great year.”

Hayley is also the co-founder of Adelaide fashion and pop culture website Adelady, and she will host Summer Breakfast with her Adelady co-creator Lauren De Cesare from Monday 5 December until Christmas Eve, and the new show will commence on Monday 16 January.

Nova 969 announce Summer Brekky show

Nova 969 have announced that Greg Burns and Zoe Sheridan will host the Summer Breakfast program.

Sheridan and Burns previously hosted Breakfast in the out of survey ’Spring Break’ period, along with Jonathon Moran from the Daily Telegraph, who will again join them on the show.

Greg Burns said, “I couldn’t be more excited to be to be back with Zoe, waking up Sydneysiders for the summer. It is a perfect end to an incredible year, it’s been such a great start to life here in Sydney….Bring it on!”

Zoe Sheridan added, “Everyone I know is looking forward to the holidays, but I’m excited to go back to work! Getting to know Greg Burns over Spring Break was an absolute pleasure. He is genuinely lots of fun, so working on the show feels like a holiday for me.”
