Stella Donnelly & Electric Fields spearhead noms for 2019 NLMAs

Serial multi-nominees of past National Live Music Awards (NLMAs), Stella Donnelly and Electric Fields, continue to hold sway in 2019.

Donnelly picks up six in the national nominations, followed closely by Electric Fields.

Thelma Plum, St Jerome’s Laneway Festival and rising WA name Carla Geneve have four nominations.

Electric Fields are up for the biggest award of the night, Live Act of the Year presented by APRA AMCOS.

Also nominated Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, who have two nominations, WAAX who have three, Mojo Juju with three and Amyl and the Sniffers.

Laneway Festival received nominations for its event in NSW, SA and VIC, as well as a nod in the National category. With multiple nominations every year, the touring festival has won three NLMA trophies to date.

Other multi-nominees are Caiti Baker, G-Flip and I Know Leopard with three apiece.

Jazz performer Jonathan Zwartz, Rufus Du Sol, WA rockers New Talk, Jack River, Hatchie, Hermitude, Genesis Owusu, Groovin’ The Moo, Bree Tranter, Dark Mofo, Falls Festival, Tash Sultana, The Teskey Brothers, Woodford Folk Festival, Baker Boy and BIGSOUND have two apiece, as do rising WA names and first time nominees Jamilla and The Wilds

Public voting is open now and ends on November 12.
