Independent Chart Wrap: Flume scores two high debuts

It’s yet another quiet week on the Carlton Dry Independent Singles chart as Flume holds #1 with Say It ft. Tove Lo ahead of a stagnant Top 4. This will likely be the case for even longer now that his sophomore album Skin has come out.

He claims the only two debuts on the chart this week with Take A Chance ft. Little Dragon debuting at #5 and Lose It ft. Vic Mensa debuting at #8. His old single Holdin On hits #17 up from #20, being replaced by The Temper Trap’s Thick As Thieves,which re-enters at #20.

AIR Radio Play

Another week for Sia’s Cheap Thrills at #1 with no change until Vance Joy’s Fire And The Flood, whichhits #3 from #4. His track Riptide returns to #5 from #10 while Cub Sport debut at #6 with Come On Mess Me Up.

Yeo’s Icarus re-enters at #13 followed by Abbe May’s Are We Flirting? At #17. Sia re-enters at #19 with Alive and Sherbet scores a #20 debut with Howzat.

AIR Albums

The Cat Empire return to #1 with Rising With The Sun while Hermitude’s Dark Night Sweet Light returns to the Top 10 at #6 from #14. The Bennies inch back towards the Top 10 at #11 from #13 with Wisdom Machine. Lloyd Spiegel’s Double Live Set re-enters at #13.

At #15 is a new debut from Chase The Sun’s self-titled release. Mitch King’s A Life Under The Sun debuts behind at #16. The Bamboos score a re-entry at #18 with Medicine Man.
