Harry Styles Sets Guinness World Record with Residency
The Guinness World Records announced that Harry Styles now has the longest residency by a musician at iconic London venue Wembley.

Harry Styles has made a new record with his mammoth residency.
The Guinness World Records this week announced (as per Rolling Stone) that Styles' Wembley Stadium run, which came to an end over the weekend, is now the longest residency by a musician at the iconic London venue.
Styles completed 12 shows at Wembley Stadium in total.
“Wembley Stadium is one of the most iconic live music venues in the world, so to achieve the longest residency by a musician there during a single run is an extraordinary achievement,” Will Munford, Official Guinness World Records adjudicator, shared in a statement.
“Harry Styles’ record-breaking 12-date run is a testament to the scale, ambition and cultural impact of his live performances, as well as the incredible connection he has with his fans.”
Styles’ residency was part of his larger tour of residencies in support of his latest album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally., which debuted at Number One on the Billboard 200 albums chart when it dropped in March. It was his fourth solo album to top the chart.
Rolling Stone AU/NZ sent a writer to cover one of Styles' Wembley dates, giving it a rare 5/5 review.

“In a world of optimisation, rage bait, slop, and political and social madness, for two hours, we lived in Styles' halcyon days,” the review concluded. “You felt part of something. Something beyond today’s compounding woes… in the glint of Styles’ eyes, the cheeky smirk on his face, it felt as though, for a moment, we were all his - and he was all ours.”
“Styles has a universal appeal: approachable yet extraordinary, often reduced to a pop heartthrob ‘for the girls,’ but really for anyone who wants to be part of something bigger than Styles' wardrobe,” the review added.
Styles’ tour will head to Brazil and Mexico before the former One Direction member settles into Madison Square Garden in New York City for a massive 30-date residency.
