A fourth victim of the horrific car crash at Austin’s SXSW earlier this month has passed away.
18-year-old DeAndre Tatum died in hospital from injuries sustained during the crash. The news was verified by the Austin Police Department via their Twitter account.
21-year-old Texan Rashad Charjuan Owens was charged with capital murder for the deaths of Tatum, 35-year-old MassiveMusic employee Steven Craenmehr, 26-year-old Mississippi native Sandy Thuy Le, and 27-year-old Austin local Jamie West.
Owens is currently being held on a bond of $3 million in the Travis County jail, and faces the death penalty.
