Concertgoer Falls to Death at MSG Concert
A 51-year-old man has died at a Goose concert at New York City's Madison Square Garden, after falling from the stadium's 300 level.

A concertgoer has died after a fall at a Madison Square Garden (MSG) concert.
The incident took place at the Goose show on Saturday night at the iconic New York City venue, as per CBS News.
Police told the publication that a 51-year-old man suffered fatal injuries after falling from the stadium's 300 level.
Authorities found the man unconscious and unresponsive, and he was later pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital.
Goose released a statement on its Instagram following the man's passing.
“We are deeply saddened and heartbroken to learn of the tragic event that occurred at tonight’s show. We extend our deepest sympathy to everyone affected. Thank you to the emergency personnel and venue staff who stepped in with care and support," they wrote on social media.
Goose, which consists of members Rick Mitarotonda, Peter Anspach, Trevor Weekz, and Cotter Ellis, are a US jam band that formed in 2014.

This isn’t the first time there has been a fatal fall at a New York City concert. A man in his 40s fell to his death from the upper-tier balcony at Citi Field during the intermission of a 2021 Dead & Company concert. “He attempted a body flip, fell, and landed on the balcony below," police said at the time.
