News Corp's national music writer Cameron Adams departs

News Corp's national music writer, Cameron Adams, is finishing up tomorrow.

TMN understands News Corp has made a number of redundancies this week, and Adams' departure is voluntary.

Adams has been with News Corp in the Melbourne-based role for 20 years.

He told TMN: "I've decided it's the right time to leave an amazing job on a high. I'm looking forward to seeing what's out there on the other side."

Adams has also been a judge in the Australian Music Prize.
