Amrap Chart Wrap: Remi and The Black Sorrows Top Community Radio Charts
The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the top ten tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week sees Remi and The Black Sorrows take the top spots.
Remi has held onto #1 in the Amrap Metro Chart with Lose Sleep Feat. Jordan Rakei, having picked up Feature Album and Album of the Week at a range of stations including FBi Radio Sydney and PBS FM and Triple R in Melbourne. The Melbourne music-maker recently dropped into Triple R’s Breakfasters to perform live-to-air. Watch the footage here. He also joined FBi Radio Sydney and RTR FM Perth for chats.
The Black Sorrows have moved up to #1 in the Amrap Regional Chart with Fix my Bail having racked up airplay across the country at stations including TYGA FM in TAS, Fleurieu FM, 5 Triple Z and 5GTR FM in SA, Fraser Coast FM, Rainbow FM, Gin Gin’s Own and Radio 4YOU in QLD, 3MDR, 979 FM, Voice FM, Eastern FM and Radio Mansfield in VIC, as well as 2MIA, Northside Radio, Radio Norfolk, Bay FM, STA FM and Vox FM in NSW.
Chase City have moved up to #2 in the Amrap Metro Chart with Surrounded having picked up a spot in SYN Melbourne’s Sweet 16 new music list and additional airplay all over at stations including Edge Radio in Hobart, Voice of the Avon and Twin Cities Radio in WA, Inner FM and SYN Melbourne, Fleurieu FM and 5GTR in SA, 3MDR, Radio Murrindindi, Yarra Valley FM, Southern FM and Hot FM in VIC, as well as Triple H, Dungog Community Radio, Valley FM, 2BACR, 2SSR, 2SEA, 2EAR, 2RDJ and Vox FM in NSW.
Tash Sultana takes #2 in the Amrap Regional Chart in her third charting week with Jungle. The single has racked up airplay all over at stations including Twin Cities Radio in WA, Nim FM and Vox FM in NSW, WOW FM and 5 Triple Z in SA, as well as Seymour FM and Inner FM in VIC.
NT songstress Caiti Baker takes out #7 in the Amrap Regional Chart with Heavy on my Heart.
