New management for Kate Ceberano, parts ways with Ralph Carr
Kate Ceberano has announced a new management team, with Lisa Palermo of Ellpee Management working alongside her longtime management consultants from Ceberano Productions, Ben Balfour, mother Cherie Ceberano and husband Lee Rogers.
Frank Stivala from Premier Artists remains Ceberano’s booking agent, whilst there’s a new affiliation with brand management partners, the CEA Agency.
On her new role, Palermo explained: “Kate’s and my way of thinking about music, arts and creative ventures seemed to align, and we got excited about a lot of the same stuff in sounds and culture.
“It’s a thrill for me to work closely with her and the incredibly loyal and steadfast Ceberano team.
“I don’t think I’ve ever been associated with anyone so positive, she’s such a force of energy and vibrancy and I can’t wait to help harness her ideas and formidable work ethic.”
Ceberano’s previous manager was Ralph Carr, of Ralph Carr Management. They had a 16-year relationship.
During that time, the singer-songwriter and TV identity had a series of top-selling records and gigs, curated three the Adelaide Cabaret Festival three times and was honoured as the first female inductee into the Australian Songwriter’s Hall Of Fame
“Working with RCM was an exciting time in my career,” explained Ceberano, “but I’m ready as an artist to embrace a new style of management.
“The group I’m working with now is a collective of intelligent and industry savvy people who I feel extremely comfortable with as I embark on the next chapter of my career.”
