MTV Australia launches vintage clothing range with Rolla’s

MTV Australia has announced the launch of a limited range of vintage-inspired apparel in a new collaboration with Australian denim company Rolla’s.

Launching December 4, the collection will include a range of t-shirts and accessories focused on evoking the nostalgia of the network’s iconic brand logo.

Clothing will be available to purchase through the Rolla’s online store in addition to select retailers including David Jones and General Pants Co.

Rolla’s designer Andy Paltos said, “MTV opened the world’s eyes to all things current and cool in music. I was really inspired by iconic bands from the ’80s like Dire Straights who created the epic tagline ‘I want my MTV’.”

ViacomCBS’ Christie Scandura said the partnership “felt like the perfect fit”.

“We are so incredibly excited to bring to life a collection for MTV fans that celebrates the nostalgic love for the brand while giving that modern Rolla’s twist,” she said.

MTV and Rolla’s are also raffling off a prize pack containing items from the collection.

Earlier this month, MTV Australia launched a new initiative that will highlight one Indigenous artist each month, with ARIA-winning musician Miiesha the first act to be showcased.
