MTV Australia launches new weekly urban show ‘Call & Response: Hip Hop’ tonight
MTV Australia is tonight launching a new weekly urban show MTV Call & Response: Hip Hop.
Hosted by music journalist Christopher Kevin Au and in a team up with Brisbane-based urban music specialists Call & Response, the show airs every Wednesday at 8pm AEDT on MTV Music on Foxtel, Foxtel Now and Fetch.
It features urban music industry news from Australia, New Zealand and around the world, live tour info, music videos premieres, interviews and artist profiles.
Tonight’s premiere episode takes a first look at the latest music videos from Tkay Maidza (‘Flexin’), Carmouflage Rose (‘Let Me Down’ ft George Maple), Kwame (‘No Time’) and an Australian and New Zealand collaboration Raiza Biza & REMI ft. Baro (‘Runner’).
Call & Response, a marketing agency which specializes in hip-hop and urban culture, sees its mission as shining a light on the burgeoning underground scene.
