Most Added: Amy Shark hits #1 with I Said Hi’

Sony Music Entertainment has wrapped up first and second place on the Most Added To Radio chart this week with Amy Shark and ZAYN. While the latter is a proven commercial radio hitmaker, Shark has now well and truly etched her name into that category.

Hit metro stations and KIIS were all over Shark’s new single ‘I Said Hi’, as was the Hit Regional Network and national Nights show Ash London LIVE. ZAYN’s ‘Let Me’ was playlisted by both Edge stations and ACE Radio, but a lack of across-the-board adds meant Shark was eventually crowned the victor.

Baker Boy’s ‘Mr La Di Da Di’ was added to 65 Australian radio stations this week. It’s the second time the triple j-born artist has finished in the Top 5 of the chart with breakthrough single ‘Marryuna’ featuring on the list late last year.

Meanwhile, 5 Seconds of Summer’s ‘Youngblood’ and Kygo’s ‘Remind Me To Forget’ ft. Miguel had similar weeks at commercial. Both garnered attention from the majority of the Hit Network, but still have plenty of room to move over the coming weeks.

It is worth noting that the Nova Network’s adds were not taken into account this week due to a late submission of adds.
