More details emerge on violent death of Sydney rapper Scepaz
More details have emerged about the violent death of Sydney rapper Jett ‘Scepaz’ McKeem on a Sydney street last Friday afternoon.
Hannah Quinn, 23, and her boyfriend Blake Davis, 28, have been charged with his murder.
Police allege that Scepaz broke into their Forest Lodge home.
He lived on the same street but there are conflicting reports as to whether he knew the couple.
It is still not known what he wanted, but after a loud argument, it is alleged that he hit Davis in the face with a pair of knuckle dusters and ran out.
The charge is that Quinn and Davis gave chase down Hereford Street. Quinn tackled him to the ground and Davis, who had armed himself with a samurai sword from the house, hit him on the head once, and allegedly killed him.
It is further alleged that the two changed their clothes and fled.
Police searching for them in the neighbourhood claimed they later recovered their mobile phones and $21,000 in cash in the laneway behind their house.
A balaclava, knuckledusters and a replica firearm were on the road where the rapper died.
Quinn faced Newtown Local Court yesterday and did not ask for bail.
Davis appeared in court by audio-visual link after having to go to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital to get treatment for a black eye.
He too did not apply for bail, and faces court in October.
