Michael Bublé is heading to Australia for a one-off special show at Sydney's Allianz Stadium - the final show at the venue before it is closed for redevelopment.

Performing old and new hits with a host of special guests teased to appear, the performance will take place on October 5.

The 30-year old Allianz Stadium at Moore Park will be demolished and rebuilt, with a new capacity for 45,000 fans. It is set to be closed for three years while undergoing renovation.

This performance will be Bublé's first in Australia since 2014. The Canadian musician put his career on hold in late 2016 after his son Noah was diagnosed with cancer, which he has since recovered from.

Bublé and his wife Luisana Lopilato are expecting their first daughter, who will join brothers Noah and Elias.

The singer relauched his career with shows in Dublin and London earlier this month, performing to over 110,000 fans at the two events.

He has sold over one million albums in Australia and is gearing up to release a new studio album later in the year, which will include a song written for his son.
