Masked Wolf snags new deal with Teamwrk Records and ADA/Warner Music Australia

Masked Wolf can set his sights on bigger, local quarry after striking a new partnership with Teamwrk Records and ADA/Warner Music Australia for ANZ.

Announced today (15th February), the alliance is an extension to a recent deal struck between the Sydney rapper and Warner Music’s Elektra Records covering the world outside Australasia.

The hip-hop artist is tipped to go to the head of the hip-hop pack in these parts, off the back of his breakthrough single ‘Astronaut In The Ocean.’

Since its release in 2019, the hit has moved past 80 million plays on Spotify and has surpassed 100 million global streams across all services.

The new deal gives Masked Wolf (real name Harry Michael) a new support cast in his homeland, where ‘Astronaut In The Ocean’ is at No. 7 on the Australian Spotify Viral chart, No. 44 on the Australian Spotify Top 200 chart and No. 36 on the Australian Shazam Top 200 chart, and he’s already impacting the top tier of the global Spotify and Shazam charts.

Masked Wolf made his first leap into the wider hip-hop world with ‘Speed Racer,’ his debut single from 2018.

The rising star has taken a proactive stance on mental health and wellbeing and, the following year, got all the right attention when he flexed his freestyle rapping guns on Triple J’s Bars of Steel.

In the same year, he saw ‘Astronaut’ launch into space as it logged two million streams in a single day.
