We are passionate and committed to artistry and are looking for a Digital and Social savvy person to join our team in the role of Digital Marketing & Social Media Executive based in Sydney. You would be joining a forward-thinking team that knows the rate of change in the industry and gets ahead of it. We want someone that can come in and deliver amazing campaigns for an incredible roster. We need a team player, great communicator, and positive thinker.

ABOUT YOU
Be Social & Influential
Our Artist & Audience Executive will be responsible for developing and engaging fanbases online through effective content. They are tasked with helping artist’s communicate their identity across all their social channels, and in turn growing their overall audience and engagement.

• Setting the audience growth and engagement strategy for the EMI roster to give each artist consistent momentum from online channels
• Pitch for editorial placement of your assigned roster to social partners such as TikTok, and work closely with the Artist Development manager, EMI team and digital team on developing and executing a strategy for each artist
• Identify content opportunities with the marketing team and execute social first content rollouts to ensure persistent growth and high engagement across artist touchpoints
• With the help of the Artist Development manager, work with each artist on your roster to establish their online tone and tell their story through social channels
• Creating content and assets for social, digital and streaming platforms in conjunction with Artist Development & Artist Development and Content Coordinator
• Work with our digital team to fuel growth of our singles & artist brands via creative influencer and creator partnerships
• Report social growth and engagement to the label across assigned roster regularly to the label across all relevant metrics (social, CRM etc) and know the audience profile of each of our fanbases
• Support the Streaming Lead as a point of contact for streaming & digital partners.
• Manage strategy and content rollout on the EMI AU label social channels
• A focus on driving and maximising our domestic repertoire globally – identifying target audiences in key markets and developing global strategy with localised plans to drive awareness and consumption
• Provide context at every turn

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• A technically astute individual who has experience working in digital marketing in entertainment (ideally within Music Industry)
• Have a great understanding of social media including Tik Tok, streaming services and other digital platforms and their data analysis
• Passionate about music, data and the digital landscape
• Experience in teams delivering multiple fan and partner activations
• Knowledge of eCRM best practices and how to grow and nurture email databases
• Ability to network and build relationships across digital partners and social networks. Existing relationships are extremely desirable
• Possesses an aptitude for working with basic forms of content creation, social media and quickly adapts to new platforms and digital developments.
• Highly organised with the ability to keep calm under pressure
• Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines, delivering for multiple stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels within the business
• Flexible and able to prioritise own workload
• Tactful and diplomatic, especially when dealing with Artists and Management
• Experience with basic level filming, editing and audio recording of live video content.
• Experience in commissioning/producing audio/visual content and assets
• Software experience with Photoshop, video editing software such as Premiere, Final Cut, Premiere and Photoshop, excel/Google sheets
• WordPress experience a bonus
• Interest in pursuing a career in digital marketing a must
• Knowledge of how to get a website live
