Mushroom Production Music is in-development as a new music production company working and collaborating with talent in Australia and around the World. We are creating a unique, vibrant catalogue showcasing many of Australia’s finest writers and producers to create quality music exclusively for use in visual media.
Job Title: Account Manager – Mushroom Production Music
Establish and manage Australia and NZ client base.
Sales & Account management – continually grow and maintain relationships TV networks, production companies, ad agencies and corporate clients
Project management – assist clients with music searches & licensing. Develop and execute marketing campaigns.
Administrative – Data management within Disco CMS. Ingesting assets into MPM library (audio files, contracts, etc). Provide support to MD and GM.
A&R Creative – Ability to identify creative opportunities in the market and within catalogue, assist in creating music briefs for writers.
Analyse social, media and marketing trends that may amplify opportunities for writers and the roster.
A proven track record in sales and effective negotiation skills.
2+ years experience within the Music Licensing/ Production Music Industry
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Be proactive and future driven with a positive attitude
Knowledge of the music, film, tv landscape in Australia and New Zealand
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to present to clients confidently
Highly motivated with excellent time management skills
A desire to meet short and long-term targets
Ability to work on a team, autonomously and be self motivated.
Experience with Disco software a bonus!
