Digital strategy manager, Cameron Walsh (also pictured above), has also been bumped up, becoming director of label services. He will  lead the services team, which includes recently promoted marketing manager Fiona Priddey, as well as label managers Brendan O’Keefe and Joshua Gibbs, and digital manager Vanessa Bartel. Walsh will report to Cho and oversee management of label services clients and their releases for both Inertia Music and [Integral].

Meanwhile, A&R and label group coordinator, Sophie Brown, has been promoted to A&R and marketing manager for [PIAS] Australia. She joins recent recruit, promotions manager Liz Ansley, in reporting to head of marketing, Mari Stuart.

In addition, Janine Rankin is heading on maternity leave at the end of the month. Her product operations manager role will be filled by sales account manager, Phoebe Kwan.

Managing director Daniels was full of praise for Cho.

“Yvonne continues to demonstrate her exceptional leadership skills navigating our industry challenges during COVID,” he said. “As a senior executive Yvonne’s contribution to the strategy and operation of Inertia has been instrumental in our growth. I look forward to working even closer with Yvonne as we continue to provide best in class services for our artists and label partners.”

Cho, meanwhile, was equally excited about Walsh’s promotion.

“Cameron brings a unique mix of experience, musical obsession and a commitment to results every day of the week. Under his leadership, I’m looking forward to witnessing the team reach new heights in their work for our partners,” she said.

She also welcomed Kwan and wished Rankin the best on her maternity journey.

“Phoebe has been a wonderful advocate for our retail customers throughout a turbulent period. This will be invaluable in her new role and I look forward to working closely with Phoebe in our continuing service to labels and retailers alike. In the meantime we wish Janine all the very best and we equally look forward to her return.”

And Stuart noted her excitement at the new promotions and marketing team.

“I’m so excited for the future of our Label Group with the addition of Liz and promotion of Sophie, both of whom exemplify the passion for music and dedication to our artists that [PIAS] Australia is all about. Watch this space.”

Earlier this year, Inertia Music rebranded its label group to [PIAS] Australia.
