I OH YOU Sign UK Act in Joint Venture with Fiction Records (EXCLUSIVE)

I OH YOU has signed a burgeoning UK act in a joint venture with famous British label Fiction Records, The Music Network can exclusively reveal.

It can be confirmed that the Australian indie tastemaker label has landed Luton-formed The Itch (Simon Tyrie & Georgia Hardy).

The news coincides with the double single release of the duo’s first new music for 2025 and with I OH YOU/Fiction Records, “The Influencer” and “Co-Conspirator”. Check the music video out below.

The track comes a year to the month after The Itch launched with debut single, “Ursula”. The popularity of the track scored the band support from local press and radio, while their debut headline show sold out in a day.

However, The Itch quickly moved out of the spotlight. During this mysterious hiatus, Tyrie and Hardy were competing in mixed double tennis tournaments regionally and continentally before I OH YOU and Fiction Records got a hold of the pair to sign them.

“I was lucky enough to see The Itch play live a few times last year while I was in the UK and couldn’t get enough,” Johann Ponniah, Founder and Director of I OH YOU, told The Music Network.

“We’re stoked to welcome them to the I OH YOU family and equally thrilled to be joining forces with our longtime friends at Fiction Records. Really looking forward to sharing more music with everyone soon.”

The Itch are set to perform their second headline show (and first in over a year) at Corsica Studios in London on June 12th.

I OH YOU will look to keep their momentum in the UK moving with The Itch, given the immense success they’ve had with local heavyweights like DMA’S, Confidence Man, and Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever.

As well as those three big-name acts, The Itch join an I OH YOU roster that boasts the likes of Violent Soho, Jack River, and Day Wave.
