2022 Triple J Hottest 100: Australia’s Top Artist Managers, Ranked

2022 Triple J Hottest 100: Australia’s Top Artist Managers, Ranked

In January the results of the 2022 triple j Hottest 100 were announced, topped by Flume’s “Say Nothing”, a collaboration with fellow Aussie MAY-A.

As always, the winning artists are being inundated with positive messages and social media comments, congratulating them on their achievements.

As most artists will attest, their managers work tireless hours behind the scenes to help ensure success – but very rarely do these managers get well-deserved recognition for their hard work.

In light of this, like in previous years, we’ve decided to take a closer look at all the managers behind the charting Aussie acts from yesterday and rank them in terms of how well their artists performed.

To do this, we’ve given each manager a number based on how well their artists charted in the countdown. For example, a No.1 position gave Flume’s Manager a score of 100, No.3 gave Spacey Jane’s a score of 98, and so on.

Collating this data, we’ve put together an in-depth list that helps to celebrate the often unsung heroes of the Aussie music scene; the artist managers.
