Guy Sebastian and Amy Shark power up the airplay charts

Sony Music Australia’s powerhouse Aussie artists and have both picked up where they left off on the powered by Radio Monitor.

Sebastian easily takes home the highest airplay debut of the week, with new single ‘Standing With You’ landing at #19 in its debut charting week.

It’s now his second track in the Top 50, with ‘Choir’ powering on at #48 after a year on the chart.

Shark has also cemented her status as one of radio’s most loved local acts.

Her first single for 2020, ‘Everybody Rise’, jumps eight frames this week to #8, sitting two spots behind fellow Aussie and label mate Sam Fischer.

It’s a good week for Kiwis on the Hot 100 too, with BENEE’s ‘Supalonely’ returning to the Top 5.

Teenage producer Jawsh 685, who hails from South Auckland, has coupled with Jason Derulo to release his TikTok hit ‘Laxed – Siren Beat’ into the charting ‘Savage Love (Laxed – SirenBeat )’.

The track climbs seven places to #21 this week, as the track goes to #2 on Shazam AU, Spotify AU and Apple Music charts, as well as having previously topped the iTunes Chart.

Jawsh is one of a number of talented artists emerging out of the South Auckland hip hop scene, and recently signed with Columbia Records.

Over on the TMN Country Hot 50, The Wolfe Brothers rack up a seventh consecutive week in the #1 spot, holding off new releases from Casey Barnes and Brad Cox.

The BMG-signed brothers now have the longest-serving #1 of 2020, and the longest-serving #1 since TMN launched the Country Hot 50 in 2019.
