Greyscale Records Announce Second Signing for 2025: ‘We’re Beyond Stoked’

Greyscale Records has recruited a burgeoning act to its roster.

In what is the Australian label’s second signing for 2025, Melbourne outfit Melting are the newest addition to the Greyscale family, which already boasts the likes of Alpha Wolf, Make Them Suffer, and Diamond Construct.

The signing follows the metal band’s latest single, “874”, while even more new music is on the way.

“We’re beyond stoked to be joining the Greyscale family,” Melting told The Music Network.

“Greyscale has a tapestry of some of the most talented and badass bands in the country, and we couldn’t be more hyped to be part of that lineup. Getting hit up by GSR definitely caught us by surprise, so it’s humbling that all the hard work and dedication we’ve put into this sound is starting to pay off.

“We’ve spent a long time laying groundwork trying to find the right sound, the right band members etc. We feel right at home on the Greyscale roster and are grateful to share that roster with so many of our friends.

“Right now, you’re listening to our latest single, ‘874’ – a taste of the direction we’ve locked in for our new EP. We wrote the record with the mindset that it has to feel ferocious live, non step energy.

“So with all that, we’ve got another single primed and ready, and an EP to follow. And we aren’t pulling any punches.”

Melting are expected to launch the new music later this month while on tour with Thornhill. The shows kick off at Melbourne’s Howler on Thursday, March 27th, followed by Crowbar in Brisbane on Saturday, March 29th and Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on Sunday, March 30th.
