Good Lekker sign management deal with Good Intent
Wollongong-based band Good Lekker has joined the Good Intent management roster.
“We are beyond excited to join the Good Intent team,” the band told TMN.
“Although this year might not have started the way we have planned, joining the team is super exciting and we can’t wait to work together!”
The six-piece rock outfit release new single ‘Belligerence’ this Friday – produced by Daniel Willington – inspired by a “real-world run-in” with a character that “no one wants to deal with”.
Good Intent’s management roster also includes Bootleg Rascal, Close Counters, Down For Tomorrow and FANGZ.
Good Intent’s Rob Carroll told TMN he’s chasing the coin after signing Good Lekker.
“We signed Good Lekker because we think they’re a very good band. I really hope they make us some money, otherwise, I reckon I’ll be packing shelves at Woolies really soon,” he said.
The Sydney-based artist services agency is run by Carroll, Nick Moran and Rick Bridgman, and has continued to power up during the pandemic.
Last September it launched Greater Good, a program designed to assist emerging artists but providing them with a $10K package including a cash grant and pro-bono services.
