Frontier Touring Expands, Taps Marc Sousley as Tour Director

As the top-end of the concerts market explodes, Frontier Touring expands its live music team.
With effect from Monday, March 3rd, veteran promoter Marc Sousley joins Frontier Touring as tour director, joining a promoting team which includes Dion Brant, Michael Chugg, Sahara Herald, Susan Heymann, Gerard Schlaghecke, Louis Schlaghecke, Emily York and joint venture partners at MG Live, Matt Gudinski and Sam Rogers.
Sousley is recruited to the concerts giant from Splendour in the Grass owner Secret Sounds, part of Live Nation, where he served as senior promotor, working on tours from such international artists as The 1975, Tate McRae, Lizzy McAlpine, Father John Misty, and Australian performers Ruel, Dope Lemon, and Peach PRC.
Before that, Sousley worked in Austin, Texas with C3 Presents, producers of Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits, relocating to Australia with C3 in 2012 when the company acquired a share of the Big Day Out.
Sousley “comes into the company with over two decades of experience, strong industry relationships and an approach that aligns perfectly with Frontier’s ‘artists and fans first’ philosophy,” comments Susan Heymann, COO of Frontier Touring.
“We have an incredibly talented group of promoters at Frontier who all love music and prioritise delivering the best experience possible for both artists and their fans. We’re looking forward to seeing Marc expand upon his already stellar career, with us.”

Led by Dion Brant, CEO of Frontier Touring and Heymann, Frontier Touring is coming off another massive year.
In 2024, the concerts specialist, a joint venture of Mushroom Group and AEG Presents, promoted 112 tours, 525 shows, with ticket sales in excess of 2.6 million across Australia and New Zealand, a statement confirms.
During that bumper year, Brant and Heymann were named to Billboard’s International Power Players List and Frontier Touring won Promoter of the Year at the inaugural Variety Live Biz Breakfast in Sydney.
This year “looks set to smash those numbers,” reads a statement from Frontier Touring, thanks to Luke Combs’ record-breaking stadium run and sold-out arena runs from Benson Boone, Bryan Adams, Billie Eilish, Kylie Minogue, Gracie Abrams, Hans Zimmer Live, and Tyler, the Creator.
