Frontiers Music Srl & The Orchard announce new deal

PRESS RELEASE:

Italian rock record label Frontiers Music Srl has entered into a wide-ranging distribution partnership with The Orchard, RED Distribution and Sony Music Entertainment covering global digital distribution as well as select physical distribution in a number of key territories around the world, it was announced today.

Under the agreement – which builds upon a long-running successful relationship between The Orchard and Frontiers Music Srl – The Orchard will continue to provide global digital distribution to Frontiers Music Srl. In addition, RED Distribution and Sony Music Entertainment Australia will now handle physical distribution for Frontiers Music Srl in North America, Australia and New Zealand, respectively.

The enhanced collaboration kicks off in 2017 with a release slate that includes records from Michael Bolton, Night Ranger, Steelhart, TNT and more.

The expanded distribution relationship stems from a decade of business between The Orchard and Frontiers Music Srl, working side by side on global digital strategy, marketing and sales for releases from classic acts such as Whitesnake, Rick Springfield, Asia and Boston as well as up and coming European artists such as Eclipse, Inglorious RavenEye and One Desire.

In the U.S., RED will work to further expand the reach of Frontiers Music Srl in the world’s largest music market through its powerhouse physical sales team and nationwide reach in both retail sales and radio promotion.

“The Orchard has been Frontiers’ strategic digital partner for several years. Their support, dedication and belief has been truly amazing. They have been the foundation for the success of the label on the international markets,” Frontiers Music Srl President Serafino Perugino said. “The deal with RED and Sony Music marks a step forward in the strategic assets for the Frontiers label in the years to come, which is now fully under the Sony Music umbrella in North America and Australia as well. I wish to take the opportunity and thank RED/Sony Music and The Orchard for their belief, passion and good will toward the label.”

“It’s gratifying to see Frontiers evolve into the powerhouse label they are today. They are passionate about connecting fans around the world with music they love,” The Orchard CEO Brad Navin said. “This new chapter will take our partnership to the next level. It’s going to be fun.”

“Frontiers have built a connoisseurs rock and metal label that will be a perfect addition to RED’s family of labels,” RED President Bob Morelli said. “Serafino’s knowledge, years of success and

expertise in marketing rock artists is extraordinary and we look forward to expand their reach to a broader audience.”
