Eleven screening Taylor Swift ‘Road to Reputation’ special tonight
It sees Swift personally documenting her career and highlighting footage of her current US shows.
The Taylor Swift – Reputation Stadium Tour is tipped to become one of the biggest grossers of all time.
Kicking off in America in May, the first five dates grossed $54 million after shifting almost 398,000 tickets.
By August, as TMN reported, she reached a new milestone, making $191 million from 27 shows, during which she played to 1.4 million.
That set a new record for highest-grossing tour by a female artist in the United States.
Swift toppled the previous record of $181.5 million – set by none other than Swift herself, from her 1989 world tour in 2015.
At its current rate of money-spinning, the tip is she’ll have grossed $400 million by the end of the world tour – putting it up there with the big ones by The Rolling Stones, U2 and AC/DC.
Globally the tour plays 53 shows encompassing 36 cities spanning seven countries and four continents in seven months.
The Australasian leg begins in Perth on October 19 before Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane and winding up in Auckland on November 9.
Taylor Swift – Road to Reputation will premiere at 7.30pm tonight (September 28), exclusively on Eleven.
An encore broadcast will air at 10.30pm on Network Ten.
Tomorrow morning, The Loop will play Taylor Swift Hour of Power, from 10.30am, followed by a repeat viewing of Taylor Swift – Road to Reputation at 11.30am on Eleven.
