Drake has topped a Beatles chart record they’ve held for 50 years

The Six-God has once again scooped up another huge accolade, topping a Beatles chart record they’ve held for 50 years. This week, Drake’s latest single ‘Nice For What’ debuted at number one on the UK Singles Charts, making it his second this year after ‘God’s Plan’.

This marks the shortest time period between one artist holding the number one position with two different tracks, with the Beatles last taking the crown with ‘Get Back’ and ‘The Ballad Of John And Yoko’ in 1969.

Drake surprise released the EP Scary Hours in early January, launching the single God’s Plan and released ‘Nice For What’ as a stand-alone single this month. He’s also just teased the name of his next upcoming project, which fans are saying will be an album named Scorpion set to drop this June.

Drake recently released a video for ‘Nice For What’ that celebrates the women of the world, featuring cameos from the likes of Olivia Wilde, Issa Rae and more.
