Digital Chart Wrap: David Bowie pops up across digital charts

Justin Bieber holds on to his #1 spot for another week as his smash hit Love Yourself featuring Ed Sheeran dominates the streaming charts again. Justin Bieber’s other banger Sorry also helps dominate as it comes in at #2, for another consecutive week.

Snakehips featuring Tinashe & Chance The Rapper and their hit All My Friends jumps into the #3 spot from last week’s #4. Meanwhile,DJ Snake featuring Bipolar Sunshine’s Middle jumping two spots from last week’s #7 to #5 this week.

Entering the Top 10 is Jonas Blue’s Fast Car at #7 jumping 5 spots from last week’s #12 spot. Zara Larsson has also moved a few spots this week with her track Lush Life coming in at #12 from last week’s #18 along with Alessia Cara’s Four Pink Walls EP up a massive 11 spots from last week’s #29 to this week’s #18 position.

Hilltop Hoods featuring James Chatburn and their track Higher are new additions to the Top 40 this week, debuting at #32. Elle King’s Ex’s & Oh’s also makes its debut into the Top 40 this week at #33.

A quiet week in the iTunes charts this week with little movement around the Top 5area. Justin Bieber holds on to the #1 spot for another week with Love Yourself,while Jonas Blue remains close at the top with his track Fast Car at #2.

Long time hit-maker Taylor Swift and her hit Out of The Woods jumps three spots this week to a modest #17 up from #20, while Hilltop Hoods’Higher move from #22 to #21.

New entries this week are from none other than David Bowie. As we celebrate his legacy we see new additions into the charts from some of his most infamous hits including Space Oddity at #25, Heroes at #37 and Lets Dance at #39.

Disturbed also make their debut into the Top 100 with their cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s 1964 classic The Sound Of Silence coming in at #48.

Snakehips have their eye on the #1 spot this week as they slide into the #3 spot with hit All My Friends featuring Tinashe and Chance The Rapper, up from #4 last week. Justin Bieber remains strong as he holds on to both the #1 spot with Love Yourself and #2 with Sorry.

Jonas Blue’s dance anthem Fast Car sits at #6 this week up two spots from last week’s #8. Marcus Marr & Chet Faker’s track The Trouble With Us remains at #16 for another week, while Zara Larsson and her smash Lush Life jumps a notable three spots to #14 up from last week’s #17 spot.

Long may David Bowie live in the charts this week as he debuts 10of his greatest hits including Under Pressure featuring Queen at #56, Heroes at #59 and Changes at #88. Also in the mix are two offerings from David Bowie’s latest and last album Black Star, the lead single Lazarus at #72 and Black Star at #80, respectively.
