Didirri signs to Paradigm Talent Agency ahead of debut EP

Fresh off a run of shows in the UK and Europe, including spots at Brighton’s The Great Escape Festival and Spain’s Primavera Sounds, Didirri has signed to Paradigm Talent Agency for bookings in North and South America.

The Melbourne artist (real name Didirri Peters) will be represented by Paradigm senior executive Tom Windish, renowned for developing the touring careers of the likes of Lorde, alt-J, Hot Chip and more, who was taken by the singer one fateful night in East London.

“I’m on the board of advisors for Sofar Sounds but had never been to see a show at their headquarters in London. There I am, and the first artist up was Didirri. He started strumming and singing and my jaw dropped,” Windish said.

“By the end of his set there were tears in my eyes. He made an immediate impact on me in the way only music or art or magic or a shooting star can.”

The announcement comes mere weeks before the release of Didirri’s debut EP Measurements, which is slated for release July 6.

The singer explains the thought process behind the EP title: “I was pondering metaphorically what my scribblings were and came to the conclusion that they are my ‘measuring tape’ to hold up to the world; the yardstick to check myself with.” 

Didirri joins a touring roster that includes the likes of Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Bon Iver, Flume and more.
