Coterie Tipped by Ticketmaster for 2024 Live ‘Breakthrough’

Keep an eye on Coterie to take the next step this year.

That’s the word from Ticketmaster, which tips the trans-Tasman indie-rock outfit for a major breakthrough in 2024, powered by their live performance.

Based on Australia’s west coast and formed around the core of Māori brothers Tyler, Joshua, Brandford and Conrad Fisher, Coterie has done all the groundwork.

Following performances at Summersalt, NYE On The Hill and BE Social Fest in support of their self-titled 2022 debut album, which bowed at No. 4 on the Australian Artist Albums chart, the group struck a global deal with Concord Music Publishing ANZ, the publisher formerly known as Native Tongue.

Before that, Coterie signed a recording deal with Massive Records, a joint venture between Kiwi stadium rockers Six60 and Sony Music New Zealand, and they collected best new artist award at the 2023 Rolling Stone Aotearoa awards.

Coterie joins Polynesian-Australian powerhouse singer RISSA, Finnoguns Wake, the new project from ex-Royal Headache frontman Shogun, and others cracking Ticketmaster’s 10-to-watch list, a selection of acts expected to “dominate the live scene in 2024.”

The annual “Breakthrough” is part of a Ticketmaster New Music campaign, identifying and celebrating the hottest emerging artists on the Live Nation company’s channels.
