End of an era? The Brag goes fortnightly as editor departs

After almost 15 years as a weekly under the current masthead, Sydney street press The Brag has officially moved to fortnightly print editions.

The independent street publication has a circulation of approximately 30,000 across Sydney city and surrounding suburbs, as well as the ACT, Newcastle and Wollongong.

“This is not in any form the end of an era,” Seventh Street Media managing editor Poppy Reid told TMN. “The Brag is turning into a more premium print publication. We’re investing more in content and over the next few months you’ll see The Brag in more locations, some with dedicated Brag magazine stands.

“You’ll also see The Brag covering more diverse happenings around the city via long form features. The Seventh Street Media team is excited about the future of Sydney’s finest print publication.”

The news comes within the same week as current Print and Digital Editor Chris Martin announcing he would be stepping away from the company as of Monday July 10.

After working with the team for four years, Martin is leaving his post in order to pursue new career opportunities.

David Molloy is the new Print Editor.
