BMG confirms the appointment of Kenney Shiu in China

BMG has reinforced its commitment to its growing operation in China with the appointment of Kenney Shiu as Director of Finance & A&R at BMG China, effective immediately.

A well-known figure in the region’s music business, Shiu was previously Managing Director of Peermusic’s Hong Kong operation. Previously he was part of the finance team at Rock Music Publishing (HK) Ltd, before spending four years as Accounting Manager at Warner Music Hong Kong. He moved to Peermusic in 2006 as General Manager of Asia Pacific.

Based mainly in Hong Kong, Shiu will report directly to BMG China CIO Dora Yi, and will oversee business expansion in Hong Kong and Taiwan. He will also take responsible for finance at BMG China.
