ARIA Midweek Chart Predictions – Dec 10

Following his #6 debut earlier this week, AronChupa is set to crack the Top 3 inthis Saturday’s chart. Its biggest competition will be Taylor Swift’s Blank Space and Mark Ronson’s Uptown Funk featuring Bruno Mars, both of which have held their top position for over a week.Set to break the Top 10up from #12 is Peking Duk’s Take Me Over featuring Safia. The track’s progress up the chart can be attributed to the copious amounts of press the duo have receieved in recent weeks, especially after wrapping up the Stereosonic festival circuit. The debutingtrack to look out for is Bring Me The Horizon’s Drown, the first track off of their forthcoming album, looking to enter within the Top 20.

The Albums chart is set to have a quiet week, at least in regards to new album debuts. The only noteworthy debut comes from Andre Rieu’s Best Of Christmas, which enters in the Top 40. Movement wise however, it looks as if Michael Buble might have another album back at #1. His Christmas album, currently at #3, has been steadily climbing the chart these last few weeks and only has one other album to contend with, Taylor Swift’s 1989, which currently sits at #2. Sam Smith’s In The Lonely Hour is set to move back up into the Top 10 again next week, it currently sits at #15.
